Kak-Khunou clubs draws attention of govt. over deteriorating road condition

Thoubal,Nov.27: Kakching Khunou Youth Development Club has drew the attention of the government to the deteriorating road condition of Burma-Sugnu Road. A press statement by the club’s secretary Kh. Ibomcha said that the road stretch from Sugnu to Wabgai is filled with lot of pot holes.

“During election time the pot holes were field but after 4 times floods, the condition of the road is disappointing”, the statement said.

People of the area are facing extreme hardship due to the bad road condition, it added. On the other hand after a side of the bridge constructed on the River Tarang has been collapse, heavy vehicles are passing through the IVR road leading from Umathel to Kakching Khunou Keithel. The road condition too is field with dust. The Club appeals the government to repair the road condition at the earliest in the interest of the people of the side.
