Imphal, June 19: A team of Journalists of the state including Imphal Times Sr. Reporter Huirem Naresh today leaves for Chennai, on Journalists’ Tour. The 10 member team including DIPR staff was flagged off by Wangkhemcha Shyamjai, President All Manipur Working Journalists’ Union (AMWJU) from the office premises of DIPR at Moirangkhom at Imphal.
Joint Editor of Kangleipakki Meira Evening daily Wangkhemcha Dhamen, Manitomba, Senior Reporter Kanglapao, Ranbir , reporter Manaba daily, Salam Prem, Editor Weekly journal, Ajit Video Journalist ISTV News programme, Bidyananda, Staff reporter DIPR and Romio Freelance Journalist among others are taking part in the journalist tour programme.
The tour programme is sponsored by the Directorate of Information and Public Relation (DIPR), Govt. of Manipur. During the tour , the journalists will meet the journalist fraternity of the Tamil Nada as well as the DIPR, Govt. of Tamil Nadu.
