JNURM buses to ferry passenger during Sangai Festival

State transport department has completed preparation for introduction of JNRUM buses (Semi Low Floor Ferry Bus ) for visitors of Sangai festival which is scheduled to begin from Novemebr 21. A trial run was held today from Imphal East DC office, Malom and Game Village till Andro Parking in Wangkhei today. The buses are being introduced to reduce the traffic congestion. An official of transport department said that if the visitors of the Sangai festival prefer the bus services instead of their private vehicles than the traffic congestion will be reduced. He said that 10 buses will be put in service in a day along each route.
