JCILPS to observe 6th death anniversary of Sapam Robinhood

The Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS) said that the 6th death anniversary of Sapam Robinhood which falls on July 8, 2021 will be observed symbolically with the participation of only a few people and family members in view of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown.
A statement by Co-Convenor of JCILPS Shyam Khuman stated that Sapam Robinhood was a student of Ananda Singh Higher Secondary Academy when he succumbed to bullet injuries after police fired rubber bullets to disperse protesters demanding ILPS on July 8, 2015.
This year, his death anniversary will be observed in a simple and symbolic manner due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the lockdown imposed by the Government SOP safety guideline. The statement further appealed to lit candles at the gate of every household as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
