SSF observed Eid-Milad-un-Nabi

The Sunni Students’ Federation (SSF), Manipur State Committee observed Eid-Milad-un-Nabi or Eid-e-Milad today at Jiribam to mark the birth of the Islamic Prophet Muhammad. 
In connection with the celebration, a grand rally started from Kashimpur bazaar which passed through National Highway-37  to Jiri Tipaimukh road and ended at Lalpani Eidgah ground.
The rallies carry green flags in their hands and tie ribbons on their wrists to celebrate Prophet Muhammad’s teachings. The green colour represents Islam and paradise.
The celebration of Eid-e-Milad is one of the ways Muslims pay tribute, respect, honour, and shower their love towards the last prophet of Islam. 
Thereafter, a grand sermon was delivered by Maulana Tamiz Uddin, Head Maulana Kashimpur Alia Madrasa in connection with the birthday celebration of prophet Muhammad. Maulana Minaj Uddin, Vice President, SSF Manipur State Committee also delivered speech in connection with Eid-e-Milad.
The SSF, Manipur State Committee also expressed gratitude to Jiribam District Administration for their co-operation to make the programme a grand successful.

BJP Jiribam Mandal Office inaugurated

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jiribam Mandal office at near old Petrol pump is inaugurated today by A. Sharda Devi, President, BJP Manipur Pradesh.
The inaugural function was attended by Md. Achab Uddin, MLA, Jiribam, K.  Saratkumar Singh, General Secretary, BJP Manipur Pradesh and Chairperson, Manipur Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, N. Budhachandra Singh, Social Worker, K. Jaddu Singh, President, BJP Jiribam Mandal along with other offices bearers shared the dais.
Speaking on the programme, A. Sharda Devi, President, BJP Manipur Pradesh said the BJP works on Sampark and Sambad. “As a National political Party, the party also works on the discipline and constitution”, she added
She said, since 2014 when the party came to the government  it’s works without discriminating caste, creed and religion. As there are many schemes launched by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi Government for the development of the country and the residents, which shows the marks of Service (Seva) for the people of India. She also appealed to all BJP karyakarta of Jiribam Mandal to give their services with sacrifice for the larger interest of party and the people of Jiribam.

Missing minor girl found dead in Jiribam

Jiribam, Sept 22:

A dead body of a missing minor girl of around 8 years in Lalpani Pt-II village of Jiribam District was found dead in a gorge nearby the village.
According to family report to the media person, the girl was missing around 4 pm yesterday, while they were searching for the girl in and around the village, some of the people discovered the dead body of the girl lying in a gorge which is behind the rubber farm at the West Kashimpur (Balijuri) village.
Later, the villagers reported to the police and the body of the girl was recovered by the police at around 10:00 pm of the previous night.
The distance of the place where the dead body was found is around a half kilometer from the deceased house.
According to police, the deceased body will send to Imphal for post-mortem so as to confirm the cause of death.
However, the family of the deceased suspect that there might be some foul play with the girl.
The Superintendent of Jiribam Police, Ksh. Ravikumar Singh (IPS) himself along with the official team visited the deceased family today and assured them that the district police will take up necessary action. An F.I.R has been registered at Jiribam police station in this regard.

As a part of  fortnight-long “seva pakhwada” campaign to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday a blood donation campaign was held at Jiribam 50- bedded hospital today.
Speaking on the programme K. Sarat Kumar Singh, General Secretary, BJP Manipur Pradesh said that the campaign has begun on Modi’s birthday on September 17 and will continue upto October 2 where there will be different activities undertake by the Jiribam BJP Mandal .
Achab Uddin, local MLA of Jiribam said as per  guidelines of party, the Jiribam BJP Mandal will make their efforts  and he also assured  to give full co-operation from his side for the welfare of the poor and downtrodden in the rural areas which is the focal point of  Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led government.
He also added BJP is the unique party which always focus for the development of India.
Thereafter, K. Janaki Devi, Adhyaksha Jiribam said that today's programme is organised  by Jiribam BJP  Mandal as a  "seva" to share pain and grief of the people of India  with an objective  to bring a better society in India. she also added that the campaign which started from today will continue upto September 02, she  appealed to all the people as well as BJP workers and sympathisers to take party in the said campaign.
The programme was graced by K.SaratKumar Singh, General Secretary,  BJP Manipur Pradesh, Md. Achab Uddin, MLA Jiribam, K. Janaki Devi, Adhyaksha Jiribam District, N. Budha Chandra Singh, Social Worker, Jiribam as a presidium members.
