One day political conference was held today at the Netaji School playground, Jakuradhor, Jiribam. The conference was attended by the Chief Minister of Tripura Biplab Kumar Deb as a Chief Guest.
Addressing the large gathering of public meeting Biplab Kumar Deb said during the Covid crisis we have seen difficulties, it is only Prime Minister Narendra Modi make an effort to save the people of India by making an indigenous vaccine at India.
As we have seen people of other States of India are not aware of Tripura earlier but when the BJP government came to power. People of other States came to know about Tripura for its development. As same Manipur also came to know for development under the leadership of Narendra Modi.
In Jiribam there are different communities people residing together and we are one as Indians in the vision of Narendra Modi.
Your problem can be solved by National Party like BJP,  but an Independent candidate couldn’t do anything for you.
He also assured that N. Budhachandra Singh, BJP candidate of Jiribam will surely win.
“There is no difference among the people of Delhi and North East to the heart of the Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi”, He added.
Today we have seen under the leadership of Narendra Modi peace and normalcy prevail in the state of Manipur, as there is no bandh and blockade daily in Manipur under the leadership of the BJP government.

The Flag hoisting ceremony of BJP candidate of Jiribam AC, Nameirakpam Budhachandra was held at his residence at  Ningsingkhun, Jiribam today.
The ceremony was attended by Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh as a Chief Guest and hoisted the BJP flag in presence of Rajya sabha M.P, Eningthou Leisemba Sanajaoba and  Ashok Singhal, Cabinet Minister, Housing & Urban Affairs, Irrigation, Govt of Assam. Election Co-Incharge BJP, Manipur.
Thereafter, a public meeting was held at Uchathol play ground.
Speaking on the occasion Ashok Singhal asserts confident that BJP will cross 40 seats in Manipur.  He also said, Budhachandra will surely win from Jiribam Assembly Constituency. 
He added, BJP government of Manipur has brought many development. Jiribam District is connected with Imphal through airway by providing helicopter services as well as it connect railway line in Manipur with rest of the country.
He assured that the BJP candidate of Jiribam Assembly Constituency will work for the development of every communities of Jiribam District.
Addressing the public meeting, the Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh said that in the last five years BJP government of Manipur brought lots of development ushering in peace and normalcy in the state.
People are beginning to feel the change and we are happy that we have been able to achieve this in such a short time,  under the leadership of Narendra Modi. 
He gives an ample example “Tamenglong District  will become one of develop district in Manipur”
Regarding the Jiri-Tipaimukh road, CM Biren said construction of JT road is the main priority of BJP in Jiribam and it has already sanction 114 crores by the government.
Jiribam District is the western gateway of Manipur and it is utmost require to make it model district of Manipur.

K. Saratkumar extended support to Budhachandra

The senior most BJP member and intending candidate for seeking BJP ticket for 40-Jiribam Assembly Constituency extended his support to N. Budhachandra Singh, BJP Candidate, Jiribam Assembly today in a simple function held at Kamranga, Jiribam.
During the programme, N. Budhachandra Singh expressed his gratitude to K. Saratkumar Singh for his generous support. He added, K. Saratkumar Singh is one of the senior-most person who work in Jiribam Assembly Constituency for the previous 5 years for strengthening the BJP party.
N. Budhachandra said, as the party offered him a ticket to contest from Jiribam Assembly Constituency. He will ever remain indebted for K. Saratkumar Singh's sacrifice and support who had done for the sake of the BJP party.
Thereafter, K. Saratkumar Singh also formally extended his support to BJP Candidate of Jiribam N. Budhachandra Singh and appealed to his supporters to favour N. Budhachandra Singh in the interest of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Jiri police seizes huge quantity of liquors

Imphal, Feb 10:

A team of Jiribam Police seized 7 nos. of case Kingfisher cane Beer 500 ml (168 Canes), 05 nos of case IMFC MC Dowel No.1 whisky (375 ml) 125 bottle and 5 numbers of Case IMFL MC Dwel No1 whiskey (750 ml) 60 bottle while checking at the gate of FCP Jiribam from a Tata truck bearing Regn No. MN05C-0535 which was coming from Silchar towards Jiribam along NH-37 at around 8.50 pm.
Police source said that the owner of the said vehicle has been identified as Lungaiganpou Luke (26) S/o Pugaina Rongmei of Thanagong Khoupum, Tamenglong District, Manipur. He was also arrested by the police team at 8:50 pm. The approximate value of the seized liquor is Rs. 50,000/-. The arrested person along with the seized liquors has been handed over to OC Jiribam.
