Science and Crafts Fair Organized by Assam Rifles Public School Pallel

Assam Rifles Public School, Pallel of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR(South) organised science and Arts exhibition at their School premises on 07 December 2018. A total of 28 items were displayed in the event by students of classes 1st to 10th. The naive and unique ideas and innovation included hydraulic lift, electronic robot, pin hole camera and many more unique projects. The children enjoyed the event as much as the visitors, who were full of appreciation for the young minds. Addressing the children, the chairman of Assam Rifles Public School Pallel, Deputy Commander 26 Sector Assam Rifles stressed for continuous need of innovation to counter the increasing issues of the new generation.
Assam Rifles Public School Pallel has a strength of 365 students including civilian wards of Pallel and neighboring towns. The school also supports education for Orphans and wards of troubled and oppressed women without any distinction of caste or creed.

Assam Rifles Conducts Medical Camp at Chassad

Chassad Batallion of 10 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) is organising a medical camp at Kamjong Public Ground, Kamjong district on 07 and 08 December 2018. The programme is part of the larger OP SADBHAVANA initiative. On the first day of the camp, close to 500 locals including children were treated by the team of doctors for various ailments and free medicines were distributed to all.

The aim of this initiative is to provide free medical treatment and consultation to the remote villages of Kamjong district where requisite medical facilities are yet not available due to poor road infrastructure along the Indo Myanmar Border (IMB).  An awareness workshop was also organised on the sidelines of the medical camp to educate the locals on various life style diseases such as High BP, diabetes etc. Apart from providing necessary medical assistance, basic know how on health education, hygiene and sanitation was also imparted.

The village Headmen and villagers  appreciated the initiative taken by the Assam Rifles  and expressed their heartfelt gratitude for the medical camp at their doorstep. Such camps, if organized regularly, will go a long way in bringing the people of Manipur and Assam Rifles closer for    sustained peace and prosperity in Manipur.

National Integration tour from Joupi to Delhi, Agra

Jhoupi Batallion of 28 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of Inspector General (South) is organizing a National Integration Tour to Delhi- Agra and back. The tour was flagged off by Commandant 29 Assam Rifles at Joupi village. The NIT tour consisting 20 students (09 boys and 11 girls), 03 teachers and team of 29 AR will visit various tourist and historical places in Delhi and Agra during 18 days long tour. The excursion tour consists of students residing in far flung areas lacking basic amenities required in day to day life and these areas are highly isolated from hinterland.
This National Integration Tour is aimed at providing an exposure to the students to the rich cultural heritage of the country and an opportunity to visit various places and interact with eminent dignitaries. The tour will imbibe a feeling of national pride and develop patriotism from an early age. The tour will definitely kindle ambition and dreams within students to find jobs in big cities. The children and team will be given an opportunity to interact with the Honble President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind, Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Shri Kiren Rijiju , Dr Jitender Singh of PMO Office and Lt Gen A B Mistry, AVSM, SM, VSM General Officer Commanding Delhi Area.
The students will visit various places of interest like India Gate, Rashtrapati Bhavan, Nehru Planetarium, Red Fort, Qutub Minar, Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri before returning to Joupi on 23 Dec 18.

Popular Front of India Chairman condoles demise of  Maulana Asrar-ul-Haque Qasimi MP

Popular Front of India chairman E. Abubacker has conveyed deep condolence on the demise of Maulana Asrar-ul-Haque Qasimi, MP. By his demise we have lost a great Islamic scholar and political leader. Maulana Qasimi was the real representative and the leader of the people in Kishanganj in social, educational and economic fields also. E. Abubacker remembered his support to the activities of Popular Front of India. Maulana Qasimi has addressed public programmes of the organization including National Political Conference held at Calicut. E. Abubacker prayed for his hereafter life and joined in the grief of the family.
