All Manipur disabled And Physically Handicapped Development Association (AMDAPHDA) today observed its 8th Foundation celebration at Samurou Awang Leikai Community Hall organized by AMDAPHDA. L. Ibomcha Singh Commissioner Disability, ,Wangkhemcha Shamjai,President AMWJU, Th. Mangi Devi, Chairperson Samurou Nagar Panchayat and Heisnam Lokeshore , Social Activists attended as dignitariesSecretary of AMDAPHDA Yunush Khan, addressing the keynote speech said that fund sanction for the welfare of the people with disability has been pocketed by some vested interested person. There were quotas for the persons with disabilities in all the developmental programme being taken up at the various department of the state government. Either it may be in the Agriculture department or the KVIC there are quotas for the person with disabilities in the various scheme taken up by the respective departments.In connection with the observance, a patriotic song competition was held. All together 10 person took place in the competition.He also appealed the persons with disabilities not remain quite and feel inferiority complex because of their disabilities. he said people with disability have also all the rights to survive in the society
