Sensitization on how to access State and Central sponsored schemes at Senapati

A one-day awareness programme on ‘How to Access State and Central Sponsored Schemes’ was organised by the Manipur State Commission for the Scheduled Tribes (MSCST), ADC Bhawan, Chingmeirong at DRDA Hall, Senapati.
During the programme, M. Kapajit Singh, MCS, SDO Songsong in his welcome speech acknowledged the presence of Village Chairmen and Secretaries, CSO’s and various departmental staff. He said that the detail of the schemes will be discussed on how to and where to obtain them. He also urged the member present to take active maximum participation and benefits from the event.
Thuigai Mathieu Rongmei, Chairperson, MSCST spoke on the Discourse on “How to Access State and Central Sponsored Schemes”.
Gopen, President, Irabot Foundation also Resource Person enlightened the gathering in accessing the State and Central Sponsored Schemes. He stated that schemes are classified into 3 parts such as Central Scheme, Centrally Scheme (in collaboration with the state) and State Scheme. Citing some examples he also mentioned that schemes can be obtained from various office departments. He also urged the member present to stay aware of the schemes and share the information with every people nearby.
Later, there was also a Discussion & Interaction session from both the people and resource persons.
The programme was attended by Departmental staff, CSO’s, Village Chairmen and Secretaries, Entrepreneurs, and students.
