DC Thoubal appeals to take benefits of various Govt schemes

“Meeyamgi Numit” (People’s Day) was successfully organised by the District Administration Thoubal  today at the Counting Hall of Deputy Commissioner’s Office Complex for  the month of November. As done in the preceding months, Shri A. Subhash Singh, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Thoubal, heard various grievances and demands of the public personally. 
Speaking to the media, Deputy Commissioner said “Meeyamgi Numit” was held to meet the grievances of the people living in the village and far flung areas. He said the District Administration could solve the problems and grievances of the public. He said most of the grievances are related  to old age pension schemes, CMHT cards and the District Administration is trying its best level to resolve the problems and grievances of the public along with the concerned departments at the earliest. He appealed to the people of the District to come forward and place their grievances and take  the benefits of various welfare schemes introduced by the Government.
Deputy Commissioner also distributed CMHT card to two beneficiaries.
Around 109 written applications were received today relating to different schemes including 28 applications for CMHT Card, 37 application for old age &12 for Widow pension card and grievances related to other departments like PHED, Police among others. 
Twenty (20) stalls of different departments were opened to meet the demand of the public including Police, CMO, ICDS, ZEO, MSPDCL, Veterinary,Agriculture and Fishery.
In today’s “Meeyamgi Numit”, SP Thoubal Jogeshchandra Haobijam, IPS, CMO Thoubal, Dr. Y. Nokul, all Sub- Divisional Officers, and other District level Officers of different departments attended the programme to address the grievances of the general public.
