36th Annual Lions District Conference was organised today by Lions Clubs International, District 322D, 2014-15 at City Convention Centre, Palace Compound, Imphal.Attending the conference as the Inaugurator, Chief Minister, Manipur, O. Ibobi appreciated that Manipur Lions Club had earlier produced two Grand Prize winners in peace poster contest, namely, Mahesh Tongbram and Raj Phairenbam which were both sponsored by Moirang Lions Club. He further appreciated the last winner, Soom Soom Malemnganbi Yunmamcha of peace poster contest sponsored by Ningthoukhong Lions Club during 2014-2015 Lionistic years. The Chief Minister further wished the Lions of Manipur to continue providing humanitarian services with the Lions motto ‘we serve’ in the spirit of world peace.Siva Nanda Sarkar, International Director, Lions Clubs International and Dr. Kh. Ratankumar, Minister (Works & Transport), Manipur attended the conference as Main Speaker and Special Guests.
