Office of the District Election Office Imphal east today organized a Marathon Competition at 7 am on the theme “Run for Democracy” as a part of Imphal East SVEEP Campaign. The Marathon Competition was organized with aim of mobilizing the voters on the Rights and Importance of Voting.
The Marathon was flagged off from the DC office Complex, Porompat by the DEO, Imphal East. More than 100 electors of Imphal East district participated in the Marathon Competition along with the Superintendent of Police, Additional SP, SDPO and other police Official of Imphal East district. Cash prize were distributed to the winners.
Best three male winners are Khundom Romajit Singh 1-Khundrakpam A/C, Konthoujam Somorjit Singh, 7-Andro A/C and Yangoijam Abhinash, 1-Khundrakpam A/C.
Best three female winners are Pebam Thoibi Devi, 14-Yaiskul A/C, Irom Omita Devi, 1-Khundrakpam A/C and Takhellambam Rebika Leima, 1-Khundrakpam A/C.
