Conrad K Sangma, the National President of the National People’s Party (NPP) said that the NPP will lead to form the next Government in the State of Manipur in 2022.
This was stated by Sangma who is also the Chief Minister of Meghalaya during the Interaction Programme of youths of Singjamei Assembly Constituency in the theme NPP AS SAVIOUR OF NORTHEAST at Singjamei Thongam Leikai, Imphal West District Manipur this afternoon. He said that though the Party is a National Party but the Party believes in regionalism. It is one among the eight Political Parties converted as the National Political Party recognising the work and ethos of the Party. It mainly confines the interest and sentiments of the people of the North East. It is only the Party that recognises the genuine problem of the people of the North East.
Conrad further said that there will be a big boon for his party in the forthcoming State General Assembly Elections 2022 that his party will contest in the upcoming State General Assembly Elections with numerous Intending Candidates. He keeps confident that his Party will be the single largest party and will lead the next Government.
Addressing the gathering, Yumnam Joykumar, the Deputy Chief Minister said that the NPP will get more than 20 seats and will play a leading role in forming the State Government.
Speaking on the occasion, Oinam Romen Singh, the Intending Candidate of Singjamei Assembly Constituency said that his sole objective is nothing but to boost up the youths of the Constituency so that they can be self-reliant. If the youths are groomed in a proper way, Society will be developed automatically. He said that Electoral participation is very much needed and they should be aware so that they can choose the right candidate.
