Waikhom Nilabanta Meetei of Singjamei Wangma Makha Pebiya Pandit Leikai, Imphal East District Manipur has been conferred the Rastriya Jyotish Ratna National Samman Padak -2021 award by the Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur (India) in recognition of his achievement in the field of Astrology, Literary, Sports, Medical, Art and Culture , Theatre, Agriculture, Industry, Human Rights and Social services for the upliftment of the downtrodden, oppressed and depressed people of the country in connection with the 125th observance of Lamyanba Hijam Irawat Ningsing Thouram- 2021.
