KSO visits PHC Kana area; Thanks Minister Letpao Haokip

Imphal, Sept. 19:

A team of Kuki Students’ Organisation Chandel district led by Mangvung Benjamin Haokip General Secretary along with KSO Kana block recently visited the newly inaugurated Sajik Tampak Primary Health Centre at Kana Area. The KSO Chandel exalts with the people of the Kana area on having a properly established hospital in the area. This progress will relieve the people from the difficulties of going to faraway hospitals in case of emergency.
Kana area being a far-flung area degraded by the long presence of insurgent groups, the KSO highly exuberates. at the progress and also the ongoing developmental projects. The team also had interactions with the staff ‘on myriad issues including the matters of required medical equipment and necessity items.
The people and the student organization thank Minister WR & YAS, Letpao Haokip, DC Chandel, CMO Chandel District, and Managing Director New Life Trust for taking the initiatives and effort in the establishment of the hospital. it’s all because of them that the project fructifies to a fully functioning hospital. The people also request the honourable benefactors to further give importance to the PHC in its infrastructure, supply of medical equipment in the future.
The KSO Chandel also conveys appreciation to Dr. Esther Thokehom, MO i/c and her staff for making impressive progress in the past few years making the area self-reliant in the field of medicine and treatment. We also acknowledge their sacrifices and endless efforts in keeping the area safe, especially during the covid19 pandemic.
Encouraging the staff to continue doing the good work and hoping for a greater positive change in the future, we wish them a healthy life and a happy stay.
