As announced by the Government of Manipur, door to door covid-19 testing began at Tengnoupal district yesterday under the initiative of the District Administration Tengnoupal and District Health Society Tengnoupal 97 people were tested using RAT at Kotlenphai village and Molnoi Village yesterday.
The door to door testing continue today at Moreh Ward No. 3 Morning Bazar, by a team of Sub District Hospital Moreh led by District Surveillance Officer and District Nodal Officer. At the time of filing this report, 20 persons were tested at Morning Bazar. Among them, one (1) Individual was found positive with Covid-19. The team is conducting door-to-door Covid Testing at various areas of Moreh Town and the number may increase.
On the other hand under the strict supervision of Deputy Commissioner Naorem Praveen Singh , Covid Vaccination drive is also continuing. Today a team of Primary Health Center Moreh led by its in-charge Dr. Kh. Shantikumar conducted Covid Vaccination Campaign at Moreh Ward No. 5 Muslim Basti.
The Campaign was organised by J. Khongsai VP-BJP ST Morcha, Manipur. During the campaign 54 of them including some security personnel have vaccinated and 13 at Primary Health Center Moreh. Tengnoupal District is in the second most vaccinated Hill Districts in Manipur.
