As a part of our ongoing Mass Tree Plantation Drive in connection with Balidan Diwas, President of the BJP Manipur Pradesh, Adhikarimayum Sharda Devi along with Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba accompanied by his wife Leimarembi Anamika participated a Tree Plantation program organised by Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Thoubal Team in co-ordination with BJP Thoubal Mandal.
President A Sharda Devi, while speaking on the occasion expressed her willingness to support more activities on surveying every school dropout girl child from Manipur.
Rajya Sabha MP Sanajaoba praised BBBPM team for the continuous effort on educating girl child and helping hand even during this lockdown period .
Vice President of the BJP Manipur Pradesh, N.Nimbus Singh; General Secretary L. Deven Singh; General Secretary P.Premananda Meitei; State Secy. Smt K.Inaocha Devi and Thoubal Dist President, Y. Kumarjit Singh also attended the occasion.
BBBPM State in-charge Hajarimayum Sujata Devi called the importance of educating dropout Girl child and favouring their needy families during the Covid-19 Lockdown. She expressed her appreciation to the Chief Minister of Manipur N Biren Singh and his Council of Ministers especially Minister Thokchom Satyabrata Singh, S Rajen Singh, MLA Radheshyam Singh and MLA P Sharatchandra Singh for their support for BBBPM.
Gift Packages containing Sweets, Grocery items, Excercise Books, Sanitisation kits and Face Masks were distributed to the 20 selected girl child of Thoubal district.
In continuation programs, the BETI BACHAO team continue the distributions of books, pen and other essential items to around 60 school dropout girl today at Bishnupur Ward no. 5.
