National Deworming Day launched at Jiribam

Jiribam, April 20: 

District Health Society, Jiribam launched the ‘National Deworming Day’ (NDD) at the Jiri Ima Meira Paibi Apunba Lup (JIMPAL) hall today.
During the first phase of launching programme, the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC), Jiribam S. Indrajit Singh administered deworming tablets to the children present on the occasion.
He also advised all parents to remain extra cautious and strictly follow all COVID-19 protocols and guidelines issued by the government to stop further spread of coronavirus.
Anganwadi workers and Supervisors;  ASHA workers attended the programme as a trainees by maintaining social distancing
S. Indrajit Singh, ADC, Jiribam; Dr. E. Okendra Singh, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Jiribam and N. Soroja Devi, District Nodal Officer, Child Health, Jiribam attended the programme as a Chief Guest, President and Guest of honour.
