A video of a teenage girl firing gun, acting in Angelina Jolie’s action hit Hollywood movies, went viral in the last couple of days. The Manipuri teenager fired several gunshots in the air acting like a scene from the Hollywood blockbuster movie Tomb Raider. But the intention on why the capture on video of her shooting and circulating at social media is a matter that concern citizens of the state have been speculating. Is she trying to intimidate some of her enemies, or is she trying to show that she is above the law? Many questions arise.
Soon after the video went viral on social media including Facebook, another video of a recorded phone call went viral. In that video, the owner of the gun whom he told the person at the other end as the legitimate owner of the gun requested a person to delete the shooting scene from the Facebook wall. He even said that his mother is a BJP karmi and is close to Chief Minister. He told the name of his mother as Modhubala from Takyel Khongbal. He even gave a damn of the Chief Minister N. Biren Singh saying that nothing will happen as his mother have a close affiliation with the Chief Minister.
The person tried to make him understand the law of the land but the so called son of the BJP leader close to CM tried to subdue him ( as per the conversation which went viral on social media).
As per a police source, the owner of the gun whom the teenage girl shows off on social media by firing several rounds has been arrested and the process to cease the license is underway.
The video of the girl firing gunshot should be seriously dealt with as the intention on why she should upload such a video need to make it public, said Pradeep, a layman. He also said that the government should check on whether the said person who is the son of a BJP Karmi Modhubala , really needs a licensed gun and if so on what ground.
A big question is that the Chief Minister himself was very much against the use of violence using license gun and how could anybody who is not capable of using license gun be granted to use it by offering license of the deadly weapon.
Well and good the law enforcers are acting but, the BJP should think of a punishment for the other to make sure that BJP stands for clean and peaceful governance.
