Minister O. Lukhoi Kicks Off ‘Tikka Utsav’

Minister of Agriculture, Veterinary & Animal Husbandry and Tourism, Oinam Lukhoi Singh today kicks off Tikka Utsav for COVID-19 mass vaccination at Community Health Centre, Wangoi in the presence of Medical Officer, CHC, Wangoi, Dr. N. Sushila Devi and staffs.
India will observe ‘Tikka Utsav’ or vaccine festival across the country from April 11 to April 14, 2021 with an aim to inoculate a maximum number of eligible people against the coronavirus. The Tikka Utsav is being seen as a special drive to vaccinate as many eligible people as possible.
As Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi initiated to vaccinate as many eligible people as possible and target for zero vaccine wastage, Minister Lukhoi appeals all to come forward and get them vaccinated during this mass vaccination at their nearest healthcare centers. He also urges all to continue following the SOPs laid down by the Government to prevent from the 2nd wave of COVID 19.
Minister Lukhoi also checked the infrastructures and under construction facilities of the CHC, Wangoi.
