3-days residential camp for Congress Seva Dal inaugurated

The Congress party finally seems to have realized the missing part of its party organization after seeing the kind of electoral organization being prioritized by its opponent party BJP. No such speech in connection with the realization on the need for strengthening of Congress party’s frontal bodies had been mentioned by leaders of the MPCC including its new President Govindas Konthoujam, CLP leader Okram Ibobi or the CWC member Gaikhangam, but almost all speakers recalled on the needs for strengthening of the frontal bodies as they are the soul of the Congress Party.
During the inaugural function of the 3 days residential camp for the Congress Seva Dal which will be held for three days, MPCC President appealed to those attending the camp to understand the political history of the Congress Party as well as its frontal wing Seva Dal during the pre-independence movement as well as during the post-independent movement.
“ It was the hardcore members of the Congress Seva Dal, then the Hindustan Seva Dal that acted as the main force under the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi and later thrown out the colonial British ruler from the soil”, Govindas said.
The series of activities carried out by the Seva Dal to free India from the hand of the British rulers should be well studied and also the kind of initiative taken up by the Congress in the post-independent India with the support of the Congress Seva Dal should be understood by each and every member. Only then members will realize how the Congress along with its frontal bodies had worked for a secular Independent India. He also mocked the BJP saying that those are people who come after the curry has been already cooked.
“The so call BJP had never joined in any movement to free India from the British instead it was one of the members of their frontal body who assassinated the Father of the nation Mahatama Gandhi.”, Govindas said.
CLP leader Okram Ibobi said that the Congress today needs to strengthen all its frontal bodies like the Student’s wing, Youth Congress, Mahila Congress.
“All these frontal bodies of the Congress party are the backbone of the party we need to strengthen it”, Ibobi said.
CWC member Gaikhangam also encourages the Seva dal member to take part in the camp saying that everyone should be committed to the good cause of the nation.
Around 100 men and women of the Congress Seva dal party are attending in the 3 days residential camp and during the camp, the workers will learnt the culture of the congress party.
