RK Maipaksana memorial Trust has invited applications from the working journalists and columnists of Manipur for awarding RK Maipaksana Journalist Fellowship 2020 for working in the following fields of Human rights Communal harmony Women and children of Manipur Sports in Manipur Art & culture and Films of Manipur and Rural reporting.
A press released by Dr Th Ibohanbi Singh Managing Trustee said that the Fellowship will carry a cash of Rs. 3,000/- per month and those who are journalist and columnist in the newspapers of Manipur for at least one year are eligible to apply.
While applying for the fellowship the journalist or columnist should submit the clippings of his or her writings published by line during the last one year. The application for the Fellowship should be submitted with the recommendation of the Editor of the Newspaper in which he/she is working along with an undertaking of the Editor that the Features/News stories etc. of the Journalist/Columnist will be published in the Newspaper during the Fellowship. At least two Features/News stories etc. are to be published in a month. If the Journalist/Columnist fails to publish Features/News stories etc. the Fellowship will be discontinued.
