Division Forest Officer, Churachandpur Forest Division N Ganesh IFS distributed materials for Singngat & Behiang Van Dhan Vikas Kendra Self Help Groups at the Kendra Common Facility Centre at Haijang to 32 VDVK SHG within Singngat Forest Range. The VDVK SHG works on collection, processing and marketing of minor forest produces found within their region and add values to those forest produces.
N Ganesh IFS said protection & preserving the natural forest are ultimately beneficial and healthy for the people and their living and request the people to take active part in these activities. Active participation in value additions of minor forest produces will bring in better skill development and raise the economy of the people for better living in the region and in general.
