Mumbai, Dec 9,

The Shiv Sena has demanded that even if union government wants to grant citizenship to Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians (except Muslims) from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan after seven years of stay in the country, by including a special provision within the Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB), such “indigenous” people should not be given voting rights for 25 years.
In a party mouth piece Marathi daily “Samna”, Shiv Sena Party President Uddhav Thackeray , who is also Maharashtra CM, has suggested that such refugees should not be granted voting rights for 25 years. Besides, instead of indulging in such “vote bank politics” take action against countries who are perpetrating injustice on Hindus in their country. “Its true that only India is the powerful “Hindu nation” in the world. But no illegal migrant can be considered for citizenship”.
Regardless of the religion, migration of people to India will disturb demography and culture of India. The states including West Bengal, Meghalaya, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Sikkim, Mizoram have already expressed fear that the entry of these people will endanger the identity and livelihood of local populace. Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has also opposed the idea. Under the circumstances, to transport all the migrants to Gujarat, is the only option. Most of the states including Maharashtra are over populated.
Would Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, supported CAB, if he was not to be a  CM representing the BJP ? “ “Samna” has questioned. “Samna” has also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah alleging that both wants another partition based on Hindu and Muslim population.
While earlier Shah used to say that all illegal migrants will be driven away, now the BJP has changed its stand. Whereas the Shiv Sena has been opposed to entry of illegal Bangladeshis in India, regardless of their religion from the day one and even today stands by the same.
Even after scrapping article 370, to integrate Kashmir with India, Kashmiri pundits migrated elsewhere are unable to return to Kashmir. What the government wants to do about this situation? “Samna” has questioned.
