Manipur HC quashes MPSC – 2016 main examination; directs CBI to investigate

In a landmark ruling by a divisional bench of the Manipur High Court, comprising of Justice Lanusungkum Jamir and Justice Kh. Nobin Singh, the controversial MCSCCE 2016  Examination for selection to 62 posts of MCS, MPS, SDC, EO conducted by the Manipur Public Service Commission (MPSC) had been quashed and the consequential orders for the appointment of those declared recruited had also been quashed.
The divisional bench’s ruling also directed the Central Bureau of Investigation, (CBI) New Delhi to investigate into the conduct of the Main Examination , 2016 by the MPSC within a period of 3 (three) months beginning today.
The order of the divisional bench also quashed and set aside the judgment order dated 28/02/2017 by a single judge bench.
Extract of today’s court order read – “The writ petitions being WP(C) No. 606 of 2017; WP(C) No.725 of 2017 and WP(C) No.313 of 2018 are allowed and consequently, the Main Examination, 2016 initiated and conducted pursuant to the Notification dated 07-04-2016 issued by the MPSC is quashed and set aside and further, the consequential orders dated 22-06-2017; 26-06- 2017 issued by the Deputy Secretary (DP), Government of Manipur and the order dated 23-06-2017 issued by the Deputy Secretary (Revenue), Government of Manipur are quashed and set aside. However, it is open to the MPSC to conduct the Main Examination, 2016 afresh after due notice being given to the candidates.
“The Central Bureau of Investigation, New Delhi is directed to investigate into the conduct of the Main Examination, 2016 by the MPSC within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment and order and take appropriate action thereafter in accordance with law. A certified copy of this judgment and order shall be sent to the CBI, New Delhi, at the earliest possible, for doing the needful in time”.

Operation seems to be successful but paitent will die or survive ,need to observe

Happening in one of the prestigious exam of the state, what shall we expect?? disgusting. Even one’s mind will get shitted thinking of words to express such disgusting event of corruption.
