Members of the JAC against the bomb blast at Khurai Sajor leikai today stage sit-in-protest in front of the residence of MLA L. Susindro today morning blocking his way towards the assembly.
At around 11.30 am today morning the members of the JAC stopped MLA Susindro while trying to go for submission of his resignation. The JAC members snatch the resignation letter and tore it apart forcing the MLA to stay in his house.
MLA L. Susindro, popularly known to the people as Yaima, had declared that he will resign from the post of MLA as people do not like him to be MLA.
Protesting the decision of MLA Y. Susindro, large number of people from Khurai Assembly constituency staged protest against the bomb blast at the residence of the MLA. In a public meeting held on July 6, at Lamlong, MLA Susindro announced that he would resigned from the post as people seem to not like him.
Yesterday at around 9pm, large numbers of locals from Khurai Assembly constituency staged a protest demonstration in and around Khurai assembly constituency area. Later, late at evening the JAC called 24 hour bandh at the Assembly Segment, however, the bandh was today called off as today falls the 4th Anniversary of late Robinhood.
In a statement by the JAC against the bomb blast at Khurai Sajor Leikai, it is stated that the JAC will continue its protest to make sure that MLA Susindro does not resign from the post. The JAC also demanded resignation of CAF and PD Minister Karam Shyam and also demanded for punishment of those CAF and PD Contractors involved in the hijacking of peoples’ share.
