A Book title “Manipuri Women Leaders their storyline” penned by MAMTA Lukram was released today by Administrator of Manipur University Jarnail Singh at the library hall of Centre for Manipur Studies (CMS), Manipur University.
The release function was attended by Administrator of MU Jarnail Singh, Editor of Imphal Free Press Pradip Phanjoubam and Professor of Economics Department of MU Amar Yumnam.
Speaking as the chief Guest Jarnail Singh recalled the articles written by MK Binodini where he was struck in awe on how beautifully she had written and added that he have read three times.
He further added that such book like Mamta’s Manipur women Leaders their storyline will inspire others to write more in the future.
The book is about the biographical accounts of some selected women leaders of Manipur who have been involve in the Meira Paibi movement which has been taking frontal roles in all spheres of social life.
The book was reviewed by Editor of Imphal Free Press Pradip Phanjoubam
