CM launches citizen facilitation centre

Chief Minister N. Biren Singh launched Citizen Facilitation Centre in a simple ceremony organised by MAHUD Department at the Cabinet Hall of Chief Minister’s Secretariat at 11 am today.
Speaking at the launching ceremony, the Chief Minister said that the Centre has been opened with an aim to deliver different services to people through single window system. It would reduce time consumption, delicacy and ensure hassle-free. Stating that there would be VISA service as well at the Centre, he said that people would not need to go to Delhi to apply for VISA now. He also informed that VISA service is likely to be introduced for 30 countries including UK and Japan as well within six months.  
The Centre located near 2nd Manipur Rifles Gate would have 24 different services and VISA service. People may apply for VISA to Italy, Estonia and Thailand for the time being. However, service for other countries will also be introduced within six months.
Other services which are available at the Centre are applications for Domicile Certificate, Income Certificate, OBC Certificate, SC/ST Certificate, Permanent Resident Certificate, Registration in Employment Exchange, Renewal of Registration in Employment Exchange, Transfer of Registration to New Employment Exchange, issue of duplicate certificate of registration for vehicles, transfer of ownership for vehicles, transfer of ownership on death of owner for vehicles, No Objection Certificate for vehicles, change of residence address in vehicles registration, correction in applicant’s particulars in vehicles registration, endorsement of hire purchase, lease or hypothecation agreement of vehicles, termination of hire purchase, lease or hypothecation agreement of vehicles, online application submission for learner license, online application submission for driving license, addition of driving license, issue of duplicate driving license, change of address/particulars, renewal of driving license and issue of NOC for driving license etc.Services which are to be included within six months are registrations for Ayushman Bharat, second Opinion Medical Referrals, Manipur Home Care, admissions for All Schools within Manipur (Government and Private), Admissions/ Enrolments for Colleges, admissions for MPSC, authentication and verification services, ticketing services for bus services, building approval plan submissions, electoral enrolment services, tourist movement information services (inward movement), tourism promotions in a global perspective, other E-District services, Manipur Bhavan room bookings for patients and students, services for Non-Resident people of Manipur, Health-Care for old parents, other dependents and digital locker services for critical records storage etc.
