After inaugurating a 10 bedded AYUSH hospital at Kamphasom in Ukhrul district yesterday evening, Health Minister, L. Jayentakumar today opened a free diagnostic center at Ukhrul District Hospital today morning. Speaking on the occasion Jayentakumar said that the state health department putting all its labour to provide the best health care facilities in the state.
When it comes to health care service , Ukhrul district is not less than any other district, the Minister stated.
“The newly open free diagnostic center will be able to provide facilities to people of Ukhrul district and its surrounding to diagnose the disease at free of cost”, the Health Minister said.
Stating that the government is trying to reach out all people of the state to provide the best health care service by opening health and wellness centre at interior villages of the state, Jayentakumar added that even as health care centers at many district still lacks doctors, the government is sorting out the difficulties of the public by posting at least one require doctors.
The Health Minister also added that the government now have programme to open free health care service at Primary health Centers.
On the occasion, the health Minister also handed over one Ultrasound Machine and X-Ray Machine to the district hospital authority.
While, inaugurating the 10 bedded AYUSH Hospital at Kamphasomg, Health Minister Jayentalumar stated that the region has rich medicinal plants which are an alternative medicine. He appealed the farmers to research more for plantation of medicinal value plant to treatment of the people.
The Minister also assured to sent all the require manpower for the hospital at the earliest possible time.
