Imphal, Oct 31: Miss Kut Committee today said that Limited media houses are invited to cover Miss Kut 2014 due to limited enclosure.
Speaking to media persons at a press conference held today at 1st MR Banquet hall, Media in Charge, Miss Kut Committee 2014, Mang Kipgen said preparation is all set for tomorrow’s grand event. Speaking about the maintenance of parking he said public and general people can park their vehicles at Bengali High School premise, the cultural troop participants can park their vehicles at old Nambul Lane and the VIPs, flagged cars and people who have car pass can park their vehicles at 01st MR ground. Kiogen further said due to last year’s experience of not able to maintain the entry of 90 journalists the committee has decided to invite limited media persons. He added that 35 identity cards have been created for the media persons so far and total no. of 45 media persons can be allowed to cover the festival. Hence, 10 more media persons can come to cover the festival showing their original identity card to the authority, said Kipgen. A live rehearsal with all the cultural troops and all the 22 participants of the beauty pageant, Miss Kut 2014 will also take place in the evening.
