Congratulating the newly elect member of Hiyanglam Assembly constituency, Chief Minister, O. Ibobi, said that the current political trend of the country is very critical and every MLAs, Ministers and workers of the party must become serious about the matter and work harder. He added the the coming of BJP in the center has affected the political affairs of other states. During the tenure of Congress government the party members must make sure people of the state should receive every necessary commodity such as electricity, drinking water, etc., and the success of the party will follow itself, added Ibobi. He added that even though BJP is ruling in the central government, according to the federal structure of the Indian constituency the state must get its deserving right.Speaking on the occasion, President, MPCC said the success of Congress party in the Hiyanglam by-poll election is a major success in spite of other parties brags. He added the election showed people’s power is very much important and the achievement is through dedication and support by all the party MLAs and Ministers. He further said, for those parties who charge on other parties got their reply by their own defeats. He appreciated the people of Hiyanglam for their judgment in electing the right candidate. Defending the party from the allegation made by other political parties of using muscle and money power, he said those parties are creating mere allegation just to indicate their presence during election.
