Imphal, Aug.10:
Various students’ body of the state including AMSU, AIMS, DESAM, MSF, KSA and SUK today jointly organised protest demonstration demanding removal of Manipur University VC Prof. AP Pandey at various colleges of the state.
Protest were staged at Imphal College, GP Women College, Manipur College, Standard College, MB College, S Kula College, Moirang College, Kakching Khunou College, Thoubal College and Biramangol college.
Speaking to media persons, Ak.Romesh a student of Thoubal College said that the student’s union is prepare to take up different forms of agitation if the authority fails to materialise its promise.
He also informed that the Thoubal college students will give maximum support in the movement of MUTA, MUSU and MUSA.
