Software developers of the Kok Sam Lai Solution Private Ltd. have made easy and improvised the school management works of around 57 private run schools in the state by utilizing their SIMSLite product which was launched 2 years back. After successful launched of the SIMSLite, the software developer company run by IT professionals of the state has launched another product called goschool to provide easy access for schools in the state by stakeholders including parents, guardians, teachers, school management etc.  With the newly launched product, each stakeholders can now easily access the details about the status of the school as well as facilities available. Parents or guardians don’t have to run from door to door to find school of their choice for the wards but just need to browse www.goschool.com. Admission form, prospectus, uniform details etc. can all be downloaded at free of cost from the website. The launching function of the new product goschool held at the Conference Hall of Classic Hotel Imphal was packed with representatives from various schools of the state presently utilizing SIMSLite product.“At present 57 private run schools in the state have been utilizing the SIMLite product and most school has expressed satisfaction to the product,” said Harjeet Sinam, one among the IT professional behind Kok Sam Lai Pvt. Ltd.Dave Yendrenbam, CEO of KOK SAM LAI Solution Pvt. Ltd said, “The idea behind goschool came from the fact that there are more than 100 schools in Manipur and they wanted to have web site of their own but most of them don’t. They are discouraged may be because of the cost of maintaining website or in some case or they have very little idea about the benefit of having website so they don’t bother to invest.”He said having website means easy access of information where parents can interact directly with the teachers.During a short interaction session, representatives of the schools attending the launching function of goschool termed the SIMLite as a boon for the schools of the state. Unfortunate part is that the effort of the software developers remained obscure to the authorities of the department of education (S) of the government of Manipur.
