Victor Thoudam’s ‘Black And White’ performed

‘Black and White’, a play directed by Victor Thoudam was performed for the first time in public at Hongnemshang (NT Theatre’s Playhouse), Changangei, Imphal today.  The play was presented by AKHOKA under the aegis of Ministry of Culture, Government of India.
Victor Thoudam, an alumnus of NSD and London International School of Performing Arts (LIPSA) said that ‘Black and White’ was developed through a process of collaboration and devising among the actors. The play tries to understand certain dynamics of tension that exist in Manipur, among the people categorized on various lines, he added.
Eminent theatre personalities and critics such as Sabitri Heisnam, Toijam Shila Devi and others witnessed the play.
