One drug trafficker & family members ostracize from locality

The Molnoi Area Welfare Committee (MAWC), Molnoi Area Youth Union (MAYU) and Kuki Women Human Rights (KWHR) Molnoi Area expelled a drug trafficker identified as one Mrs. Nengjalam Mate and her family members from Molnoi Area in Tengnoupal District with immediate effect.
In a joint Press Statement issued by the three CSOs of Molnoi Area stated that Mrs. Nengjalam Mate wife of Thomas Mate of Zion Village under Tengnoupal District approached one Thongminlen Haokip of Molnoi Village who was going to Delhi to carry a bag containing some vegetable for her brother Mr. Jamchinkhup Zou, who stayed at Delhi, on the morning of 9th April 2018.
Without checking the content of the bag, Thongminlen Haokip went to Tulihar International Airport at Imphal to board a Delhi bound flight for appearing the forth coming competitive examinations.
 However, he was detained and handed over to Singjamei Police Station by the Airport Security Personnel following a packed of contraband drugs was found neatly concealed inside the bag of vegetable.
On learning about the incident, the family members of Thongminlen Haokip immediately rushed to the house of Nengjalam Mate and inquired about the content of the bag which she handed over to Thongminlen Haokip for her brother.
After confessed of sending a package of concealed drugs inside the bag of vegetable, Nengjalam Mate along with the family members of Thongminlen Haokip went to Singjamei Police Station where she (Nengjalam Mate) voluntarily confessed and surrendered to the Police on the same day.
Following the development, the three civil bodies of Molnoi Area convened a meeting on 11th April 2018 and vehemently condemned Mrs. Nengjalam Mate for her act of concealing a drug among the vegetables and handed over to the innocent student without his knowledge.
And the CSOs also unanimously resolved to expel Mrs. Nengjalam Mate and her family members from the locality with immediate effect for using innocent student in her illegal activities.
Such unmindful and selfish act of attempting to assassinate one’s career will be not tolerated, added the Molnoi Area’s CSOs.
While urging others not to accept any kind of parcel to be carried from other persons in order to avoid such unwanted problems in future, the civil bodies also fervently appealed the concerned authority for safe release of Thongminlen Haokip who was an innocent student and to punished Mrs. Nengjalam Mate at the highest possible according to the law of the land and set an exemplary for others.
