Imphal, Feb 21: As government fails to provide books and uniforms to students of government school on time, School Development Committee and teachers of Khangabok Awang Upper Primary School, Khangabok, today distributed books and school uniform to its students by contributing money from their own pocket. The session of the school began from January 11, but students and teachers faced problems due to inability of the books which were supposed to get through SSA. As a measures to encourage the students the SMDC and teacher decided to distribute the need of the students. Education Minister yesterday said that the books under SSA will be distributed from March 1 March 31, in the ongoing state assembly session.
