Dr. Najma Heptulla, Governor of Manipur

“I convey my warm greetings to the people of Manipur, especially to our Christian brethren, on the sacred occasion of Christmas, 2017.
Lord Jesus was a true messenger of the Almighty sent with the objective to bring a new world order base on truth, humility, sacrifice, equality, compassion, and peace. Lord Jesus was a giant among humans and His preaching of peaceful co-existence and love for the neighbours has withstood the test of time.
The noble ideals of peace, harmony and brotherhood espoused by him for a better world devoid of all should always be the guilding light and upheld by all irrespective of caste, creed or religion. Let this sacred day be observed in its true spirit.
I also join the celebration and wish the people of Manipur a very Merry Christmas”.
