State LJP blames MLA K. Meghachandra for misappropriation of PDS items for Wangkhem A/C

Thoubal, Nov.14: State executive member of Lok Janashakti Party (LJP), Kangabam Jadumani has alleged MLA Meghachandra of Wangkhem Assembly constituency, for misappropriation of rice which are to be distributed to the public under PDS.  
“MLA of Wangkhem Assembly constituency had looted rice and other PDS items which are to be distributed to the poor people and has been fooling the people by taming the public”, Jadumani said while speaking to media persons at his residence at Charangpat.
Kangabam Jadumani contested as LJP candidate last assembly election at Wangkhem Assembly constituency and was defeated in the hand of MLA K Meghachandra.  
He said that PDS items meant for distribution to the poor for seven months starting from Septemebr,2016 to March 2017 has not been distributed. This PDS items for these months have been hijacked by MLA K Meghachandra, he added.
Jadumani however said that after BJP led government come to power in the state PDS items from the month of March are regularly distributed to the beneficiaries. He appreciated for distributing the PDS items to CAF and PD Minister Karam Shyam.
On the other hand, Jadumani also reacted to the recent threat by Maoist Communist Party saying that such threat to workers of the LJP and demand for resignation of MLA K Meghachandra is ‘unfortunate’. He urged all concern authority including the Chief Minister to recover the hijacked rice for 7 months and distribute it to the poor and needy.
