Irawat Celebration Committee has observed the 119th Irawat Birth Anniversaryat Iboyaima Shumang Leela Shanglen, Palace Compound here today.
As part of the celebration, Hijam Irawat Award was conferred to former Minister, RV Minthang; Unity Award to social activist Rose Mangsi Haokip; Thiyam Meghachandra Journalist Award to Irengbam Arunkumar, Editor, Echel Express; Hijam Achou Sinmi Award to Chingtham Kulachandra Yumsaba and Thokchom Achouba Award to Oinam Munal, Veteran political and social activist.
