Intl. Drug Trafficking day at RIMS and Nambol

Nambol Police & Cleopatra Fitness Centre Nambol also observed the International Day Against Drug Abuse And Illicit Trafficking at Nambol  Bazar.
A blood donation camp was also organised in connection with the day. Around 100 persons donated the blood.
On the other hand, Community Medicine Department, RIMS in collaboration with Indian Medical Association, Manipur State and Thoubal Greater Centurion, as a part of the observance of “International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking”, conducted interaction sessions with the students and parents at IRE College of Teachers’ Education, Wangjing and IRDEO, Wangbal, Thoubal. A team led by Prof. Brogen Singh Akoijam had discussion on ill effects of drug and inhalants use, how to recognize children using them and how to approach these children.
