The Naorem Rajendra Singh Memorial (Men’s) and Naorem Ongbi Tampakleima Devi Memorial (Women’s) Manipur University Inter-College Judo Tournament 2024-25, organized by JCRE Global College, Babupara, concluded yesterday at the Khuman Lampak Judo Training Centre. The event was held under the auspices of the Manipur University Sports Committee and saw participation from athletes across ten colleges affiliated with Manipur University.
In the men’s category, JCRE Global College, Babupara emerged as the team champions, securing a total of 2 gold, 2 silver, and 1 bronze medal. Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal finished as the runners-up with 1 gold, 2 silver, and 2 bronze medals.
The women’s team championship was claimed by Mayailambi College, Yumnam Huidrom, who bagged 2 gold and 2 silver medals. Pravabati College, Mayang Imphal, secured the runner-up position with 2 gold medals and no silver or bronze.
