Infant found dead

Imphal, April 30: Lifeless body of a baby girl was found floating in the Imphal river near Awang Potshangbam Khullen around 7 am yesterday. A team of Khonghampat Police pick up the life less body of the baby girl from the river.
The body has been kept at the RIMS morgue for identification. The body will be disposed off as per law if any related persons or family fails to claim the body on or before May 2.
It is been said that the baby is about 1 foot, 10 inches tall, fair complexion, round face and is expected to be a month or two old baby, report says.
