Imphal, March 27:

The Indian Army has invited online applications from unmarried male candidates for selection as Agniveers under the Agnipath Scheme for the recruiting year 2025-26 in various categories. The registration process is scheduled to take place from March 12 to April 10, 2025, and applications will be accepted from domiciles of all districts in Nagaland and Manipur. The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases.
In Phase-I, a Computer-Based Written Examination (CEE) will be held at selected centers in both states. Candidates shortlisted based on merit in the CEE will proceed to Phase-II, which will include a recruitment rally. The Army Recruiting Office, Rangapahar, will provide detailed advisories and requirements for the rally in due course.
To register, candidates are required to visit www.joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status, and create a personal profile. Upon successful completion of the application, they will be redirected to the SBI portal via a link on the website, where they must pay an application fee of Rs 250/- plus applicable bank charges. Payment can be made via Debit/Credit cards, online banking, or UPI. Candidates must ensure they have an active email ID and mobile number for further communication.
Applicants must select five choices for the exam center and enter their Aadhaar number in the online application. They are also advised to link Aadhaar with their mobile number. To help candidates prepare for the online CEE, category-wise practice links have been made available on the Join Indian Army website. Additionally, animated tutorial videos on the registration process and CEE procedures are accessible on the website. Information regarding educational qualifications, physical/medical standards, and job specifications can also be found on the official website.
Candidates can now apply for up to two categories during the online registration. Those applying for more than one category will be required to appear for two separate CEEs, as the standards of the question papers and merit lists differ for each category.
For further clarifications, candidates can contact the Army Recruitment Office, Rangapahar, via the helpline numbers 03862-249012 and 7628023484 or email at [email protected]. Additionally, they can raise queries through the official website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
