Various Organisations, Club members and Meira paibi organisations of the state continue to stage various form of protest demanding implementation of ILPS in the state. Large number of supporters today came out at Yorbung, Khomintok, Kangla Sangomsang, Sawombung and Khurai area along the Imphal Ukhrul road and prevented all form of vehicular movement along the route.
At Soibam Leikai in front of Ananda Singh Higher Secondary School where the five students are undergoing fast-unto-death protest, people of the area block the road from the Soibam Leikai crossong till Nongmeibung Keithel area. Large number of women also sit near the students showing solidarity to their protest.
Staffs of Advance hospital also staged sit-in-protest in front of their hospital at palace compound.
Similar protest were also staged at Iroisemba by staffs of Central Agriculture University, Imphal.
Large number of protestors also prevented vehicular movement at various areas including Sagolband, Tera, Langjing, Wahengbam Leikai, Thangmeniband, Heirangoithong, Uripok etc.
