IIIT Manipur observes 4th Convocation ceremony

The Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Senapati, Manipur, held its 4th Convocation on Saturday with a ceremony marked by pride, inspiration, and academic achievement.
Dr. G. Satheesh Reddy, Honorary Advisor to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and former Secretary of the Department of Defence R&D and Chairman of DRDO, Government of India, delivered the convocation address as the Chief Guest.
In his address, Dr. Reddy extended his greetings to the graduating students, faculty, and guests, congratulating the young achievers who received their degrees during the ceremony. He referred to Manipur as “the jewel among states” and praised the rich legacy of the state and its people, noting that many distinguished personalities from Manipur have brought accolades not only to the state but also to the nation.
Dr. Reddy expressed his pride in being part of such a significant event and encouraged the graduates to contribute meaningfully to the nation and the world through innovation, integrity, and dedication.
The event was attended by Prof. Krishnan Baskar, Director of IIIT Manipur, along with members of the Governing Body, Senate, Board of Studies, Deans, Heads of Departments, faculty, staff, invited guests, proud parents, and the graduating students.
The convocation ceremony celebrated the academic milestones of the students and highlighted the institute’s commitment to excellence in technical education and research in the North East region.
