ICP Moreh to be completed by Dec. this year

Imphal, Sept 11: The Integrated Check Post (ICP) being constructed at border town Moreh is likely to be completed in December 2016. A source said that the Dept. of Border Management, Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India had assured the Chief Secretary regarding the completion of the ICP at Moreh in December 2016.
The ICP will have all the facilities for immigration, customs etc. to promote tourism between India and ASEAN countries.
Source said that some few days back cabinet secretary too a review meeting on the ongoing construction of the ICP through Video Conference with the Chief Secretary of Manipur. As the propose scheduled for completion of the ISP is fixed in December the state government has been directed to complete all roads leading to the center from the main road before the completion of the ICP.
