Showing concern to the demands put up by student wing of the JCILP over the alleged excess committed by additional SP Yenkhom Victoria on September 9 evening, Home Minister Gaikhangam yesterday summoned DGP Sahid Ahmad and discussed about the issues.A highly placed source said that Gaikhangam was briefed by the DGP over the incident.The student wing of the JCILP has been demanding appropriate action against Yengkhom Victoria alleging her of committing excess to the member of the JCILP on September 9 incident. She was alleged to have sided with her brother Yengkhom Davson while performing her duty.As there are possibility that the Student Wing of the JCILP might ensued in another agitation even though talk between the government and the JCILPS has been underway, the Home Minister reportedly directed the DGP to sort out the matter soon.
