Heritage Convent apologizes; appealed JCILPS to lift ban on school

Imphal, May 10: The management of Heritage Convent School today apologies to JCILPS and requested to revoke the ban on administrative block of the school in the interest of the student community.
Speaking to the media person S. Vikramjit Singh said that the members of the student wing of the JCILPS and the authority of the school had an argument over taking out of the students for a protest march yesterday.
He further added that the school authority requested the student wing to take the students either tomorrow or some other days as the students were supposed to send home. He added that taking the students might create confusion among the parents as well as transporters as most of the student travel by Van transport service.
Following the confrontation the JCILPS student Wing declared closure of the school.
Vikramjit appealed the JCILPS to lift the ban on the school in the interest of the students and guardian and transporters.
Meanwhile  staffs of Heritage convert and there van’s driver and local people of the Uripok Bachaspati leikai jointly staged a sit in protest demanding implementation of ILPS in Manipur at gate of heritage convert today.
