Heavy rain with storm destroys several constructions at CRPF Group center Langjing

Heavy rain and storm destroyed several constructions and trees inside the premises of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) Group Center at Langjing in Imphal west yesterday.
Report from the center said that as many as 37 big toes of the Group Center were destroyed and also the water and electricity supply came to a standstill. Roofs of Kendriya Vidyalayas, temple, family homes roofs, hospital walls, toilets were damaged and roads were also blocked.
DIG of Group Center Langjing ,Madan Kumar , conducted a special drive for immediate supply of water and electricity, regularized the interrupted electricity and water and also directed to stay alert when such storms and rains come in future so that life and property are protected.
However, taking quick action, the closed roads were also opened and life went on smoothly.
