Imphal, May 15: Unidentified miscreants hurled and exploded a hand grenade at the shop of one Lourembam Rameshor at Kiyamgei Awang Leikai (Opposite to MU) under Singjamei Police Station in Imphal East in the wee hours around 12:30 am today. There is no report of any casualty in the blast.
Report said that the blast occurred at the shop run by Lourembam Rameshor (42) s/o Lourembam Iboton of Kiyamgei Mamang Leikai, Imphal East.
Some minor damage was caused at the blast site.
A team of police rush to the spot and took up a case in the connection.
No individuals or rebel group had claimed responsibility of the blast. Earlier too unknown miscreants had placed a grenade at his resident. Later that grenade was claimed by KCP Poirei Meitei Lup.
